Working with Erin

Each person is unique, and so is my approach to therapy.  I bring a consciousness around the importance of embodiment to what I think of as conscious conversations, in which we are dialoguing both with each other, ourselves, and the deeper contexts in which we live and find meaning. I have been seeing clients since 2007, and my practice has grown and evolved in many many ways since that time.

I approach therapy as a process of personal and collective liberation. This involves understanding the deep impacts of the systems in which we live and are taught to find safety and comfort. The rediscovery of our aliveness and the True North of one’s own Heart and Soul are at the center of the work I do. The dominant culture tells us to repress and disbelieve the most important parts of ourselves. I am actively interesting in the healing and expression and integration of those very parts.

Where we start and where we go in our work depends on your individual needs.  Generally, we start with a conversation. As we go, I will share what I see and notice about how you relate to yourself, me, and the world around you. I will encourage you to explore yourself deeply and to be present with all of yourself that you can. I will share resources that I think are helpful. Most of all, I will do everything I can to create a safe place for you to explore new ways of being.

Appointments

I see all clients on Zoom for remote sessions.

My fee for a mental health therapy session is $140 for a 50-minute therapy hour.  I bill most insurances out-of-network, meaning that you pay me my fee and I take care of the billing. Your insurance company will then reimburse you according to your benefit. I am not on any insurance panels.

To begin therapy or counseling with me, please call Confluence at 503.241.6505, or email me at erin@erinmoline.com.

About Me

I have always been interested in our shared human condition: how it arises, what we do with it; what we overcome, how we struggle; and how we thrive and love and grow.

And all of this depending, so much, on the incredible power of the presence of love and human connection.

I've studied with many teachers and have been working with therapy clients for over 15 years, doing my best to learn, guide, teach, and become increasingly aware and attuned to what helps people find their way out of pain and despair and into the challenge and beauty of life.

I live in Southern Oregon with my partner and husband, Kjell, and our dog Zoe. I am also an artist and painter, and bring that consciousness into my client work.
